We presented a lot of information about High Pressure lamps in the last issue and here on the website. The great advantage of High Pressure are its intensity and the ease ov changing the spectral distribution merely by changing the filters. Low pressure lamps have their own advantages over High Pressure, of course, and shcould not be seen as in any way inferior - just different!
