    Troubleshooting spray tanning


    Spray tanning is still a young technique and things can and do go wrong. In this article we present a selection, and what to do about them or, better still, how to prevent them. The great advantage of automation is that you don’t need to pay for an operator’s time during a treatment. Sunbeds are the best example, and automated spray booths the most recent. But larger, heavier individuals have folds of skin which automated booths don’t do such a good job of spraying. This often results in lines of white flesh hidden in the folds, which become visible later, on stretching or moving around.

    Spa day tanning


    When should you tan in a spa-day? Beginning, middle or end for best results? If you want to integrate tanning and spa services seamlessly - after all, you don’t want clients leaving after an otherwise perfectly good visit with the secret complaint: ‘It was good, but the tanning didn’t fit right with the rest of my treatments. I wish it had been better organised.’
